All Tori's six live official bootlegs are now available on www.toriamosbootlegs.com.

If you order the first five bootlegs, you will be gifted of the sixth bootleg plus the hexagonal adhesives featuring the disc covers. You will also receive a special box where to put them... so, what are you waiting for?:-)

There have been rumors about the six disc set being available in stores from December 7, 2005. There's still no confirmation that the disc set is - or is going to be - available here in Italy too, but it should be in the US and I think in some European countries. If you can find it, please post a message to let us know!

In book stores and libraries you can find Tori's first biography, "Piece by Piece (Portrait of an Artist)", written by herself with music journalist Ann Powers. The book is "a firsthand account of the most intricate and intimate details of Tori’s life as both a private individual and a very public performing musician. In this book we see the pieces that make up - as Tori puts it - “the woman we call Tori” " (http://everythingtori.com/go/home/).

This long awaited and acclaimed biography was released in February 2005, along with her new album "The Beekeeper".

"The Beekeeper", Tori's new album, is in stores now. It was released in February 2005 and includes 19 new songs filled with allegory and symbolism. Her lyrics face current themes such as politics, war, religion, Life, Genesis (each song belongs to a specific "garden") and Death (symbolized by the enigmatic figure of the Beekeeper), womanhood and betrayal (which is probably the main theme of the whole recording). Here's the tracklist:

1. Parasol
2. Sweet the Sting
3. The Power of Orange Knickers
4. Jamaica Inn
5. Barons of Suburbia
6. Sleeps With Butterflies
7. General Joy
8. Mother Revolution
9. Ribbons Undone
10. Cars and Guitars
11. Witness
12. Original Sinsuality
13. Ireland
14. The Beekeeper
15. Martha's Foolish Ginger
16. Hoochie Woman
17. Goodbye Pisces
18. Marys of the Sea
19. Toast

The album was also inspired to her by motherhood and her relationship with her 4-year-old daughter Natashya Lorien, but the material which composes her lyrics is not entirely authobiographical: "I don't usually talk about my songs and their meaning. 'Cause there's so much in it, not only autobiographic", says Tori. "And yet if I had no connection with the songs' contents, I couldn't even sing their titles".

Tori plays her Bosendorfer and the Hammond organ her husband Mark Hawley gave her for Christmas. Some of the songs feature gospel choirs, afro-cuban percussions and vintage keyboards. The first single taken from the album was the charming "Sleeps with Butterflies", the second one was the praised, sensual "Sweet the Sting".

The album was recorded at Martian Engineering, Cornwall - where Tori lives with her husband Mark and her daughter Natashya - with long-time musicians Matt Chamberlain (drummer), Jon Evans (bass) and Mac Aladdin (guitarist), replacing Steve Caton. Aladdin had already worked with Tori on albums like "Scarlet's Walk" and "Welcome to Sunny Florida". Soundengineers were Marcel van Limbeek and her husband Mark Hawley: "Working together makes me feel as if I had a steady relationship with my own husband! It's wonderful being creative with someone who supports me and whom I'm still fond of".

A special edition, with a special package, of the cd was released: it includes a bonus dvd featuring interviews, a seed packet (!) and the beautiful extra track "Garlands"

Two videos were shot: the dreamy and fairy tale-like "Sleeps with Butterflies", while "Sweet the Sting" is quite simple and includes some backstage shots of the successful "Original Sinsuality Tour" Tori and her crew made during 2005 in America, England and all across Europe.

In February 2005 Tori's biography "Piece by Piece (Portrait of an Artist)", written with music journalist Ann Powers, was released and is now available in libraries and book stores.
