It might seem that times of Rome have passed but it's not true at all, the game is celebrating its great days again and lots of experienced players gave it a go once again. Retrofit mod is most probably the best one for MTW2 on multiplayer. Most people who have tried it, have stuck to it and never came back to the original game. Skirmish is again a huge part of the game, long archers/crossbowmen battles decide about victory and all the good parts from RTW are nicely mixed with MTW2. Balance, that's what Retrofit is about!
