Insieme a quando Gareth la vede col cannocchiale che lancia globi di fuoco su raken e to'raken... Dopo questo capitolo giuro di non criticare mai più Egwene 
Capitolo 38-41 letti in meno di mezz'ora... e questo la dice lunga sullo splendore del libro a questo punto

Che grande combattimento all'interno della torre!Un capitolo mozzafiato, con Egwene che riesce ad arginare la sconfitta della torre bianca da parte dei Seanchan.
Elaida fa davvero una bruttissima fine: diventa una damane!!! Mi ricorda un po' il destino toccato a Galina...si son credute tutte e due delle grandi furbone, ma alla fine sono state gabbate alla grande!

Egwene è stata veramente grandiosa, ma il suo timore riguardo al Viaggiare è sensato: ora che i Seanchan hanno almeno Elaida, hanno la possibilità di poter Viaggiare anche loro!

Che dire! Epico in ogni senso!!! Anche la parte di Siuan e Bryne è molto bella e ha il suo perchè (la visione di Min!)
Ma Egwene! E comunque sarà stata una fonte di Potere grazie al sa'angreal di Vora, però è stata la collaborazione di novizie e Ammesse (nascoste e unite in circolo) a rendere possibile tutto questo. Bellissima immagine di collaborazione!
E che dire poi del suo pov quando è esausta?

Modesta...Ma come non capire la sua soddisfazione, che in gran parte è anche la nostra e di chi l'ha sostenuta.
Insomma, tanta roba...Wow!
La fine di Elaida mi ha fatto provare un godimento...Però sarei stato curioso di vedere come sarebbe andata a finire con un'Amyrlin contro l'altra. Ma ora che sono entrambe fuori, la situazione si fa altrettanto interessante e inaspettata!

Che sia una damane non lo mettevo in dubbio. E' stata presa al guinzaglio come tutte quelle che condividono tale destino. Me la immaginavo damane personale di Tuon a fare dei danni alle sue sorelle per vendetta.

La vedo sempre difficile: Tuon non se ne va in guerra assieme a sul'dam e damane: è l'imperatrice.
Poi Elaida diventerà a lungoandare, in quanto Damane, un semplice oggetto senza volontà, quindi non si può parlare di vendetta vera e propria.
Poi che possa essere usata contro le sue Sorelle può anche essere, ma solo per insegnare a creare i Portali, dato che i tre Giuramenti le impediscono di fatto di attaccare altre persone.

la battaglia si conclude come previsto, senza troppi colpi di scena (a parte il guinzaglio ad Elaida per il quale ammetto di aver provato soddisfazione) ma una lettura davvero potente e immaginifica..bellissime le immagini dell'ingresso del drappello di Bryne, il travestimento e l'anarchia nella Torre..ceeto che Siuan e Bryne se si attardavano un po' di più oltre a rischiare di lasciarci le penne avrebbero trovato Egwene tra le grinfie delle Nere...chissà su quel fronte cosa si aprirà quando la nostra sarà ufficialmente Amyrlin... -------------------------------------------------

la rivedrò, vi prego ditemi che Elaida non scompare così!
Uff! Sto capitolo mi stava piacendo un'infinità: la battaglia era di un'epicità unica, mai vista, era tutto meraviglioso, anche come si stavano mettendo le cose per Egwene aveva finalmente una sua giusta logica e stava perdendo quel brutto alone di esagerazione, grazie a quanto era accaduto in conseguenza a quanto fatto da Silviana. Ora l'ascesa di Egwene avrebbe avuto un suo senso, lo scontro con Elaida sarebbe stato bellissimo. Ci sono rimasta davvero male nel leggerla legata ad un raken... Non che non me l'aspettassi, visto dove il geniaccio aveva fatto mettere i suoi alloggi, però così crolla tutto. Volevo vedere Elaida perdere la faccia... Essere stata catturata é troppo semplice e sa un po' di scorciatoia... Uff, dopo tutto quello che era successo é un peccato.
Sono un po' delusa
p.s. moirane stessa non mi riconoscerebbe! Allora lo ammetti che siete stralegate, maledetta insensibile! Alcuni uomini venivano indeboliti dall'età, altri assumevano un aspetto stanco e trasandato. Bryne era diventato semplicemente inconfondibile, come un pilastro, costruito da un maestro scalpellino e poi lasciato agli elementi. L'età non aveva ridotto l'efficienza di Bryne o la sua forza. Gli aveva semplicemente dato carattere, spolverando le sue tempie d'argento e increspando il suo volto deciso con rughe di saggezza.

Secondo me ci sta l'uscita di scena di Elaida.
Anche perché non la vedo molto disponibile a diventare una docile Damane... Potrebbe in realtà riservare sorprese... anche negative, considerando che conosce la tessitura per Viaggiare...
