I dont read the newsboards so i dont know if im late or anything, but on Smackdown its been announce that Undertaker will defend his title at Bragging Rights against CM Punk..... and Rey Mysterio..... and Batista in a Fatal 4 Way. Not only is this annoying considering Mysterio and Batista have done NOTHING to warrant a title match, but also alarming that Batista could very well win the title.
Thoughts guys? Angry that Batista could be champ again sooner than later, that Taker could be dropping the belt early, or perhaps the fact that Punk is gradually being forced back into the mid-card shadows?
Side note, why cant they just put Vickie Guerrero on tv without some ridiculous love affair angle? In fact, can we just keep her the fuck off my tv??

First, I hope this all doesn't lead up to Vickie being GM again. She's great at getting heat, and she needs to transfer that over to Escobar when he wrestles. That's it. If she becomes GM, it'll be just like last year but instead of Edge, it's Eric. And he'll probably feud with Edge...
Anyways, the logical reasoning for the 4 way is so 'Taker doesn't have to try to wrestle one on one. Give some other guys some of the load to carry. Yes it's stupid for Rey and Batista to get them, but SmackDown really doesn't have anyone else for a main event match, as Dolph and Nitro are tied up with the IC Title and Jericho is feuding with DX.
Funny how I want Punk to get the belt and hopefully keep it longer than 2 months, but I'll also be pissed because once again, the title will switch hands after a short reign. I see Batista facing the champ at Survivor Series for the belt and possibly winning it as it's in his hometown. But hopefully I'm wrong and he turns heel and feuds with Rey. ______________________________________________________________________

A lot of people don't seem to get the Unified Tag Team Championships concept. Chris Jericho is on Smackdown, and Big Show is on Raw.

I see what you mean, but I think Smackdown is now the show with more main eventers so I don't think Big Show would end up on Smackdown. It's also why I don't think John Cena will be going to Smackdown, Raw would only have Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and Big Show.

Huh, I thought this thread was going to be about how Ziggler lost yet again and is now a complete choker as he is 0-4 in title matches. Personally I think the window of opportunity has passed, and while I don't think they have to go back to square one, take him out of the IC title picture for a while and do a bit of rebuilding.
Anyway, yeah it is silly for Batista & Mysterio to lose a PPV title match and get rewarded with an arguably bigger PPV title match. OH1 is right though, Taker obviously isn't 100% and they need to hide that somehow, plus the multi-man format will allow him to take some breathers.
I don't think anyone expects Mysterio to win. And honestly, I can't see Punk hold the title before year end at the least. So it'll probably be Taker/Batista in a battle of the injury prone 40-year olds in that whoever doesn't get injured first gets the belt.
Taker has always been portrayed as powerful so I can't see them hot-shotting it. Yeah Batista could win it next month in his hometown, but WWE rarely lets the hometown guy win for some reason. Plus a lot depends on how fast or slow they want to play this 'Vince is screwing over The Undertaker but is blaming everyone else for it' storyline. It could lead to a Batista heel turn, which would be the reason for him jumping to SD! with Vince promising him the gold.

He could since I dont think taker will last the entire year and will probably be out again for a long time. But your right about cena not going which is why I hate this stip and there treating the title like a pice of shit by switching it every 3 weeks or so. If you think about it the only good title now is the ECW championship Christian has been champ for a few months now and thats longer then anyone on smackdown or raw.

Don't you dare say that, you bastard, lol. He's choking because Maria was causing him to not think clearly. She was a distraction for him. She's a moron for moving that chair that Ziggler had stratigically placed to knock out Morrison with. Lol.
He'll win the IC, hopefully, because I would think Maria would now do anything to keep Ziggler with her, so she'll turn heel and help him win the belt. Hopefully. Hopefully. Hopefully.

I just want him to win, but I fully think that he would have beaten Mysterio had he not gotten busted again. It was just untimely.

I swear Vince needs to punish everyone equily, Ziggler & D.H Smith got killed on RAW after failing, only after moving do they get to be on TV. However if one of your flagship guys is caught, you suspend them and give them a mainevent spot at the next PPV, earning them the money they would have lost the month before????????

I can see Mysterio jobbin out to Punk, coz while i like the guy, you cant see him lifting Taker or Batista for a GTS, so this might be the best way to get the title back and allow Taker to move onto Batista for a feud.
the idea of a PPV main event Mysterio v Morrison v Punk, would be complete.
however i imagine Morrison's gettin his title match at the Rumble, where all midcarders have their one title match.
