Wow, flo_51!! Where do you get all these gorgeous photos from?

Sorry, I've only just seen these posts! Yes, that was me you saw with the Spanish flag! I did have a small Union Flag, but my friends had two Spanish flags, so I thought I would just join in the fun with them! I was with Raquel's mother, who is about my age. Also there were Raquel, Susana, Juan Pablo [Susana's husband],Alex [Susana's son] and Sonia[ English]. We had a wonderfu few days, very, very hot at the end of June and nearly boiled at the Colosseum! We also went to the Pallium Mass, which was our real reason for being there. Other joys included a boat trip on the Tiber and fireworks on June 29th. My photos can be seen on my Facebook page.

Beautiful pics, Flo. Thanks for posting. Look at that lovely mop of papal hair in the first one. I'm so glad he no longer has the barber that used to practically scalp him when he first became pope.

Yes, benedetto.fan,
Papa is slowing down and is more delicate than two years ago. It is sad to see but he is still amazingly clear-headed and eloquent. And, thank God, he can still get around on his own two feet. We need to intensify our prayers for him.
